Vocabulary


    For those who either started on the dubbed version (poor dears, go get the subtitled one, it's much better. :) or never really picked up any Japanese words from the subtitled version, here's a list of the words we used in the fics:
    The following terms are added to the end of a name (ex: Name -> Name-chan/san/kun/sama)     And on an intresting note, Lekka Shinen means Blazing Divine Flame. Tasuki pronounces it as "Lekka Shien", so that's mostly the way I write it in the fics.

Notes in individual fics

   This area explains some bits in the stories that may clear up some confusion that might be generated by the fics.

   First a general note: The Chiriko in these fic is pretty much his Manga personality. [When his symbol is missing, he's REAL dumb. (Poor kid)] This is half the reason he gets to skiddish sometimes. The other is that Tama-Neko REALY rubbed off on the poor kid. :)

General Notes:

    In this alternate, Amiboshi, after fleeing from the Suzaku seishi, continued running the full length of the river, knowing he could not return because Nakago would kill him. Due to exaustion, and the weather conditions, he passed out in the same village that he was orginally washed up in. The same family took him in. He had very temperary amnesia (it lasted about a day). When his memory was restored, he realized he was in a very good situation, and decided to stay.
    Whether or not Nakago knows what happened is yet unknown, but he's leaving Amiboshi alone. Suboshi contacted his twin via skin-scratch, and Amiboshi explained he wasn't leaving, and invited his twin to come live with him. Suboshi decilined, wanting to stay with Yui.


Two is better then One -- ne Tasuki?

    The bakas at the end are (in this order) our friend Tirtzah, me, Ju-chan, our friends Michael and Vachon, and then me again. :)

Fran-Nyan

    Fran-Nyan is me. :) It was one of my nicknames, which is what inspired this peice of insanity. Ju-chan is my partner in crime regarding FY stuff (this page, and these fan fics. :)
    And Chichiri and Tasuki are also dreaming. :) Because of their link, they often share dreams (much to their dismay. :)
    Ju-chan and I both had the same ring which we wear on necklaces, and our entire group of friends have friendship bracelets that are linked (which is how we got back).
    And yes, we are taking a bit of a dig at most of the self inclusion fan fics with that one line from Taiisukun. Most self inclusion fics are just the fan writing themselves into the plot and becoming the hero or love interest of a main character. In our self inclusion fics, we get yelled at, threatened and chased (with intent to harm. :) by the main characters. :) Every one is in character. It's basically Ju-chan and I having fun. And even though we get to chum around with them a bit, it's completely realistic via the setting. (Ju-chan bribes Tasuki with sake. :)

The Enemy Inside

    Oira is Chichiri's fairly unique was of saying 'I'
    And Chichiri also doesn't tend to say "(na) no da" when he's distressed.

Drowning Sorrows

    For those who are confused as all hell: GO READ MANGA 17! :) (Or watch Ova2-5) and come back later.

    [And as I write this, Chichiri's Ochanoko song starts up.. my Mp3 player is EVIL!] As for the drowning bit, in the Chichiri novel (which I want badly) it said that he did try to drown himself because of the mess with Hikou and the flood, so it's not just pulled out of my arse. I'm trying to stick to the facts here and I'm not inventing new junk for the characters pasts.

Cure, Cure, Fix, Fix!

    No, that Nyan-Nyan is NOT me. :) It's just a random Nyan-Nyan who was trying to add 1+1 and got 3.... (or as Chichiri put it, 1 and 1 to get 22. :)
    And Chichiri had commented to Taiitsu-kun that Nuriko had been getting depressed and he wished he could do something about it. Where the Nyan-Nyan got it's idea is unknown to me... *innocent whistle*

All Gone Chibi (silly)

    Blame Piers Anthony for the youth water bit. :) This was just a dumb idea that I had that I had fun with. :) And there has to be some sort of mini war between Taiitsukun and Nyan-Nyan, I mean, even Nyan-Nyan would have the brain to relize that Taiitsukun's not gonna let her fix her face... :) And Chichiri must have gotten draged into it at one point when he was training (where else do ya think he got that bent sence of humour? ;).

Fushigi Knight

    Forever Knight is a TV show about a vampire (Nick) who wants to become human because he feels really guilty for the things that he has done and wants redemption. LaCroix is his maker and adversary who looks at him as a very misguided son. LaCroix doesn't want Nick to regain his mortality. He also has a warped sence of humor. He's basicly the bad guy, but he kicks arse. :)
    Note to FK fans: We know that Nick knows Chinese (Cherry Blossoms) and I'm pretty sure I kept Lacroix true to form (Via the ep with Rasputin)
    The reason Nick didn't get burned to a crisp when he arived was he was warned that the tine was diffrent there, and prepared to arrive in the day. (I'm going to assume he learned this from a fellow vampire who was up to date on Chinese myth. ;)

Going Back

    This basicly answers the question: Where is Yui and what is she doing while all this crud is going on?
    Yes I know it's silly but it makes sence. I know ~I~ would go crazy with out my walkman (or computer for that matter) for over a month! And that poor uniform!

The Beginning Of The End

    Well, the shit had to hit the fan sometime... :) And Yuiren is a smart kid, and in that ep that didn't happen, she commented that Nii-chan was coming back because he said so in her dream, so she's got somthing going with that...
    And Nakago has been slowly going insane for this entire fanfic series. The major blow to his sanity was in Fushigi Knight, when he got his immortality and then lost it. Everything else has slowly just been chipping away at it...

A Weekend At Taiitsu-kun's

    This is what happens when Ju-chan and I are together and have been fan-ficing all day. The other anime's that are intertwined in this are Magic Knight RayEarth, Ranma 1/2, Sailor Moon, Revolutionary Girl Utena, and a WHOLE WAD of others stuff (Anime and NonAnime.) It's just silly. :)

    Also known as Chichiri's bedtime story. ;) This is really one giant inside joke, but it's fun even if you don't know who we are. :)
